Mardi has been a member of the Ottawa Executive Association, established in 1936, since 2005 and most currently as their Past President.
Mardi and her Partner John Coburn believe in giving back to the Community by sponsoring various organizations such as Make a Wish Foundation, The Snow Suit Fund, The Food Bank, and The Boys and Girls Club. Coldwell Banker is one of the largest sponsors for Habitat for Humanity across North America. Mardi also volunteered at the 2009 IIHF World Junior Championships. Mardi and her son Peter, also a realtor have sponsored The Glens Community Tennis Tournament for several years, as well as many other west end events. They know the importance of giving back to their communities.
